ABOUT

ph-therapies

We are an Edinburgh based specialist children's physiotherapy practice where young people's health and wellbeing are paramount. We provide holistic physiotherapy assessment and treatment to infants, children and young people and run relaxed and nurturing baby massage classes.

Founded in 2022 by Pamela Holland, we are passionate and dynamic about our work and aim to reflect this within our clinical practice and classes.

With vast knowledge and experience in managing children’s musculoskeletal conditions, we provide high-quality care with positive outcomes.

ASSESSMENT

Attend an initial assessment for any musculoskeletal condition including joint or muscle pain, rehabilitation following an injury, difficulty participating in activities or for any concerns regarding posture or walking pattern

IDENTIFICATION

Our assessment will help us to identify the problem area and cause. This will tell us which area to focus your child's treatment on

TREATMENT

Receive an individualised physiotherapy treatment plan based on your child's focal area, which your physiotherapist will help implement

We will review your child’s progress in this follow up appointment and amend the treatment plan as required

A 5 week course where you will gradually learn how to give your baby a full body massage

TESTIMONIALS

Parents Recommend

Danny

Age 8

"I was struggling with my calf muscle and limping a lot. After 1 week of exercises I was back to normal and able to play football again!"

Ella

Mum of Arthur, Age 5

“Pamela treated my son when he had injured his arm. He was a little nervous about anyone touching it but she put him completely at ease. She explained to him what she was going to do throughout. He was telling his friends all about it the next day! I couldn’t recommend Pamela highly enough.”

With restrictions easing, we continue to follow up to date guidance.

For physiotherapy consultations in health care settings it continues to be recommended to wear a face mask when attending your appointment to keep everyone safe unless you are exempt.

If you are displaying any symptoms of Covid, please re-schedule your appointment or class.
